Jacqueline Fernandez is a Bollywood actress who is the winner of the Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant of 2006. She is best known for her acting in Hindi film. In Sri Lanka at the very early of her career, she worked as a journalist and represented her country at the Miss Universe pageant 2006 in Loss Angeles.

Jacqueline Fernandez was born on August 11, 1985, in Colombo, Sri Lanka to the father, Elroy Elroy Fernansez and mother Kim. Her father is a Sri Lankan and mother is a Malaysian. When Jacqueline was very young her parents moved to Bahrain. After completing her school life, Jacqueline was awarded a scholarship to study at the University of Sydney. Then she moved to Australia from Bahrain and achieved a degree in Media and Communications from this renowned university. She also enrolled in the Berlitz School of languages.

Jacqueline Fernandez Career:
Jacqueline was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka 2006 and also competed in Miss Universe 2006. Following winning the Miss Sri Lanka, she entered the world of media. Firstly, she came to India on a modeling contract and made debut in her acting career with the Bollywood movie ‘Aladin’ directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Jacqueline showed wonderful performance in her first movie and got signed for the various blockbuster movie in later. Housefull, Murder 2, Race 2, Kick are the blockbuster movie of Jacqueline in these films she played a terrific role.
She is called deluxe heroine in Bollywood because Jacqueline buys an island on the south coast of Sri Lanka which is very nice to see. The purchased island of Jacqueline is located right next to a private island of cricketer Kumar Sangakkara.
